Who We Are

Amala Annai Amaithiyagam is run by the Congregation of the Immaculate Conception, Madurai.Their charism is to Evangelize the poor through simplicity and love. A small community of CIC started on 1994 and is located at Amaithiyagam near Devakottai in the district of Sivagangai.

The source of inspiration at this idyllic spiritual centre is ‘ArutPerunjothi Alayam(The Temple of the Light of Grace).This was built to the commemorate the Jubilee of 2000.The temple is a blend of Hindu and Christian culture and architecture. India’s legacy is yoga and meditation to the world.Art finds no barrier to caste and religion. To establish and cherish ‘Chola’ style of art, this temple was built and blessed on 23.12.2000 by the CIC Congregation.
