Amala Annai Amaithiyagam is run by the Congregation of the Immaculate Conception, Madurai.Their charism is to Evangelize the poor through simplicity and love. A small community of CIC started on 1994 and is located at Amaithiyagam near Devakottai in the district of Sivagangai.

The source of inspiration at this idyllic spiritual centre is Alayam ” Temple of the Light of Grace. ”  This was built to the commemorate the Jubilee of 2000. The temple is a blend of Hindu and Christian culture and architecture. India‘s legacy is yoga and meditation to the world.Art finds no barrier to caste and religion. To establish and cherish ‘ Chola ‘ style of art, this temple was built and blessed on 23.12.2000   by the CIC Congregation.  Read More
